Molten alloy is poured into the shell using the air casting process.

At casting, ceramic molds are preheated in kilns and then transferred to the casting furnace. Alloy is processed to customer specifications and heated to the proper pouring temperature. The molten alloy is then poured into the mold to form the raw casting. Raw castings exit the furnace area for post-cast processing and cooling. Once cool, the raw casting is transported to finishing operations for shell and gate removal and final processing.
